Learning Environment

The learning environment must be conducive to developing and applying sensory-cognitive
functions to language and literacy skills.
Remedial is Intensive Instruction (change the rate of learning):
•2-4 hours a day
•5 days/week
•8-12 weeks
Developmental instruction:
•Small group and classroom
•Applied to all K-12 instruction
•Applied to all curriculum (teaching language processing while teaching
content)
Parents and the community are educated to understand the importance of Process-based Education.
A community overview describes and demonstrates
sensory-cognitive processing for language and literacy development.
Parent workshops are conducted to help parents
continue the process at home.
