Lindamood-Bell® Learning Centers: Instruction

Seeing Stars StudentOne-To-One Instruction

Our instruction is based on an individual's learning needs and embodies an interactive, balanced approach.  Through Socratic questioning, clinicians teach students to integrate sensory information to help them become self-correcting and independent in all learning skills.

• Regular instruction: one hour a day.
(Average instruction time is four to six months)

• Intensive instruction: four hours a day.
(Average instruction time is six to eight weeks)

• Groups may be available, but are limited to no more than five clients.

*All instruction is based on an individual's needs.  Initial recommendations and subsequent updates may indicate a longer instructional time than the above averages.  Status of every student's progress is updated constantly during  session via meetings with our clinical staff.

Follow-Up Instruction

Once sensory-cognitive processing is intact, some students need additional help applying their new skills to academic content and their school curriculum. Tailored to meet individual needs, the follow-up may range from one session per week to daily sessions.  We want to make sure that all students we work with gets the support they need either from us, parents, or friends to continue their processing development in their daily lives.

"School Program"

The Lindamood-Bell® "School Program" is a discounted instructional service offered at Lindamood-Bell® Learning Centers.  Introduced to make our services more available and affordable for students during the school year, the "School Program" is ideal for students needing more than a few weeks to reach their potential for learning.

The "School Program" offers Lindamood-Bell® instruction six hours a day.  With daily intervention for a minimum of three months, students are offered a better chance to become self-correcting and confident in language processing.
